Intelligent power management company Eaton announced it has completed the acquisition of Exertherm, a privately owned, U.K.-based provider of thermal monitoring solutions for electrical equipment. The Eaton and FMX smart maintenance solution enables customers to automatically react to predictive maintenance data from electrical equipment to simplify maintenance and boost productivity. The solution supports power system health by combining intelligent equipment monitoring and analytics with automated scheduling, management and reporting.
The Eaton and FMX smart maintenance solution is in early deployment at Eaton’s manufacturing facility in Beaver, Pennsylvania, and is yielding valuable maintenance insights that save time and reduce costs.
